Worship & Ministry
Worship is at the heart of what we do at First United Methodist Church. We offer one weekly worship service on Sunday mornings at 10am. In addition, we broadcast the sanctuary service on Melrose’s community television station, MMTV as well as Live Stream on YouTube.
There are plenty opportunities to get involved in FUMC’s worship ministries. Love music? Consider joining the Choir. If you’re gifted in the realm of technology, you can volunteer to work the sound board, run the PowerPoint sides, or even film for the Television & Virtual Ministry You can also to serve as a greeter, usher, or liturgist. Just contact the church office to learn more about how you can get involved!
Autumn 2024 Worship @ FUMC
We are delighted to be back from summer Union Services and worshiping once again in our beautiful sanctuary. We will be worshiping together at 10am Sunday, September 1st and 8th. Then we are “kicking off” worship leading up to Advent with our “Fall Kickoff” on September 15th. Stay tuned to this page for a full list of Sundays and worship information for the rest of 2024.
Bible Study Autumn 2024 Worship @ FUMC
Tuesday Morning Bible Study – Begins September 17 at 10:30 – This is a great time of fellowship, support, prayer, and study. This fall we will be studying the Gospel of Matthew, Bible Study is held at the church in the library. All are welcome to join us, we’d love to see you there.
