Local Action:
FUMC Melrose has partnered with The Food Drive to prepare and distribute free meals to the Melrose community. We also operate a community freezer with The Food Drive to assist food insecure individuals. Find out more about our work together at The Food Drive & FUMC Melrose
FUMC Melrose supports our local food pantry. Donations are taken continually throughout the month with one Sunday of the month designated as “Food Pantry Sunday”, when we make a special effort to bring the gift of food to those in our community.
Our Feeding Ministry works with the Bread of Life in Malden, MA cooking, serving, and cleaning up after a meal for the guests at the Bread of Life. Learn more about the Bread of Life ministry, and our part in it HERE
Global Action:
At FUMC we not only engage with our local and regional communities, we also find great value in working with those all over our country and around the globe. We are pulling together our 2020 Mission ideas, stay tuned to see where we go next!
