A note from Pastor Travis 6/30/22
Dear FUMC Family and Friends,
Summer is here! Over the summer, many of us will have the opportunity to take some time away for rest and play. At the same time, for the month of July our church is joining other churches in Melrose for Union Services. I hope that you join us for these services. The first is this Sunday at Green Street UMC at 10:00.
Now that we are officially into the second half of the year, it is a good opportunity to review your giving to the church. If you have pledged, are you where you thought you would be with your giving? If you weren’t able to pledge, has your giving been at the level that you expected or hoped it would be? Over the summer, many people are in town less often, and our giving drops. However, we need to receive the same level of giving as the rest of the year in order to meet our financial obligations and pay our bills. If you are not going to be in town, you can give electronically on our church website or by using the giving QR code. Both of these are below.
