Children & Youth News 06/16/22

Children’s Time on Sunday, June 12, was all about the Trinity! Who are the three persons of our one God? Why do we use so many names for God? You are invited to use the video below as a starting place for your family’s reflections (there are no wrong answers!).

Note that we will continue to offer Children’s Time each Sunday during the month of June! We have two more coming up, on June 19 and June 26. This will be followed by a break until July 24.

We had to postpone our youth service project that was scheduled for last Sunday, but we are still looking for participants! This is a great way to learn about environmental activism in the town of Melrose while also helping to support our church’s mission partnership with Haiti. Volunteers are needed to help sort redeemable cans at Ed Schmitt’s house. All proceeds from the cans will go to Haiti Global Youth Partnership. There are a lot of cans, so we need at least 3 or 4 volunteers. Youth are especially encouraged to participate. If you or your children are interested, please let Jayleigh know by replying to this email, and please include your top three available dates within the next month.
