A note from Pastor Travis

Dear FUMC Family and Friends,

Do you remember the excitement you had at Christmas when you were a child? I imagine that, like me, you could hardly wait for Christmas to come and that your excitement grew each day as Christmas drew closer. For that reason, Christmas Eve was both the longest and the most exciting day of the year. Sadly, as adults, many of us have lost some of that excitement. If only there was some way to view Christmas again through the eyes of a child.

If you have ever felt this way, then I have good news for you! This Sunday is the Children’s Christmas Pageant. On Sunday morning the children will lead us in worship as we rediscover the joy and excitement of the Christmas story through their retelling of it. On this special Sunday, we will not only hear and see the Christmas story, we will experience its wonder and be reminded of its Good News – Jesus is born! Grace is given! God has come to earth!
