A note from Pastor Travis 4/30/26
The Sundays following Easter are interesting. There are only a few stories in the Gospels about Jesus’ interaction with the disciples after his resurrection, so on some of the Sundays between Easter and Pentecost, we asked the question, “What was it like for Jesus’ disciples once they realized that he was not going to be with them anymore?”
They had to figure out what it meant to be the church. In many ways, the modern-day disciples of Jesus still grapple with this question.
This Sunday, we will read and reflect on Jesus’ last teaching before he was crucified to see the wisdom that he gave his disciples. It is a passage that contains some encouragement and hope. It also contains a promise…
Join us as we embrace our call to be the Church.

During this webinar, participants will be invited to reflect on how certain interpretations of scripture have contributed to misunderstanding, particularly in relation to Judaism and interfaith relationships.
