February is here! There are a lot of exciting things happening in the church over the next month. I am highlighting several of these opportunities that you are not going to want to miss! So read on, mark your calendars, and sign up so that you can be a part of the fun and adventure of our church!

1. Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner. On Tuesday, February 21 at 6:30pm we are having a Pancake Dinner. We will be having activities for all ages, including a pancake race and Lenten Trivia. There will be great food too. If you would like to participate, we ask that you sign-up so that we know how many pancakes to flip! If you need a ride, let us know and we will arrange to have someone pick you up.

2. Ash Wednesday Service. We will mark the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service, 7pm, Wednesday, February 22. Join us as we prepare our heart for the journey into Lent. If you need a ride, let us know, and we will arrange to have someone pick you up.

3. Lenten Study. Mark these dates / Mondays 7pm via Zoom

Feb 27, March 6, March 13, March 20 and March 27

We will be exploring the book, Come With Me, which serves as a vehicle for contemplation, reflection, and spiritual direction to discern what God is cultivating in your life and in your neighborhood.

During these 5 weeks, we will study Prayer, Presence, Gifts, Service, and Witness. We will journey together during this Lent season, looking inwardly, and living what we learn about ourselves and God.

The cost of the book is $10. The study will be on Zoom to make it easier for everyone to participate. Contact the office to reserve your book today!

4. Bring in you Palms. Starting TODAY, Sunday, February 5, and for the next 3 Sundays, we will be collecting the palms that you received last Palm Sunday. Pastor Travis will burn them and they will be used for the ashes distributed on Ash Wednesday.

5. Website Makeover. Our church website has a new look! Sue has worked hard to update the look of our website, including make it more mobile device friendly. Our site is a great place to keep up-to-date with what is happening in the life of our church.
