A note from Pastor Travis 6/5/25

Happy Birthday! Ok, I know it isn’t your birthday, but it is the church’s birthday. Well, not our church specifically. It is the birthday of the entire Christian Church!

On Pentecost, we celebrate the Holy Spirit coming to Jesus’ first disciples. They went out and proclaimed the Good News of God’s redeeming love for all, and many people responded, giving birth to the church.

This Sunday we are reminded that when the Spirit of God comes things change. We will reflect on the way the Spirit leads us in unexpected ways and into unexpected places. We will celebrate being the church and ask for God’s guidance as we proclaim the Good News of God’s redeeming love for all in our time and for the people of our communities.

Join us on Sunday for our service and don’t forget to wear red to get us in a party mood for this holy day!

Blessing and Grace,

Pastor Travis
