A note from Pastor Travis 4/4/24

We are in the season of Easter. It is party time! 

We spent 40 long days in self-reflection and the disciplines of Lent, now we have entered into a 50-day long party, celebrating the heart of our faith – Christ is risen, new life has been given us!

I love Lent, but I always look forward to Easter. It is a time of joy in church. Worship is filled with praise and thanksgiving. There is an atmosphere of celebration. 

After the Easter season is over, we will enter into Pentecost, which focuses on the work of being the church in the world. It is hard work. It is good work. It is important work. It is necessary work. However, before that work becomes our focus, we party. We celebrate. We give thanks. 

 Join us this Sunday, and each Sunday of Easter, as we offer thanks to God for God’s redeeming work, in our lives and in the world.
