Reverend Travis Bonnette-Kim


The Reverend Travis Bonnette-Kim grew up in Louisiana, along the Mississippi River.  He felt his call to ministry while in high school, and attended Centenary College, where he received a BA in Christian Education. Upon graduating college, he went to seminary at Garrett Seminary in Evanston, IL. At orientation, he met his future wife, Sandra. Upon graduating seminary, Sandra and he were ordained in the Northern Illinois Conference, where they served for 7 years. In 2002, they transferred to the New England Annual Conference.   

Travis has served in a variety of ministry settings, including as an Associate Pastor of a large suburban Chicago church, a co-pastor of 3 rural Illinois congregations, and as pastor of several New England churches.

His wife, Sandra, is the pastor of Carter Memorial UMC in Needham. They have 2 grown daughters. In his free time, Travis enjoys following sports, and has become a huge Boston sports fan. He also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
