FUMC Covid policy
Winter 2022-2023
Friends,
Given the reduced levels of COVID-19 in our community, the Leadership Team has decided to revise our current protocols.
Masks are now optional within the church building for all activities, with the exception of the church office. Mask wearing is requested in the church office due to the smaller unventilated space, please check with any staff members present regarding their preferences for mask wearing. If anyone wishes to wear a mask, you are most welcome to do so. Masks are available by the from door.
If you feel ill, please be considerate of others and limit your attendance at in-person church activities until you feel better. Our live stream is still a good option, see our YouTube link below.
Please continue to respect social distancing between households, be respectful and aware of the needs of those around you.
Indoor coffee hour has returned! We are looking for volunteers to coordinate and host weekly coffee hours.
Vaccination is encouraged for those eligible. Opportunities may be found at mass.gov Covid vaccine finder site.
It is a blessing that we have the opportunity to worship in-person each Sunday. We are able to do this because we have made a commitment to work hard to keep everyone safe and because those who chose to worship in-person have acted responsibly, cooperating with whatever we have asked, suggested or required. We are grateful for everyone’s cooperation, and we continue to listen to experts as we set requirements for in-person worship.
