A note from Pastor Travis 8/28/25
Our church is a blessing filled with many gifted people. I would like to thank everyone who shared their talents and gifts during my sabbatical, especially those who preached and led worship. you to Tom, and the entire Stewart family, Cory, Bert, Elizabeth, and Jim!
It is hard to believe that this Sunday is the last Sunday in August. Soon our Fall programing will begin. Here are a few highlights:
Victorian Fair –September 7 11:00am-4:00pm
We will once again be participating in the Victorian Fair. This is an opportunity for us to share the great things that are going on in our church with the wider community. We need people who are willing to join us at our table. It is easy. All you are asked to do is sit at the table for an hour or so and talk to people who stop by. You also get to pet lots of dogs and see the happy faces of children as they paint rocks.
Chancel Choir Rehearsal Begins
Love singing? Want to join with others who love to sing? Join the Chancel Choir! All voices welcome!
Fall Kick Off – September 14
Traditionally this Sunday has been called Homecoming Sunday, but we have changed the name to reflect our church’s forward momentum serving God.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study – Tuesdays 10:30am
We will resume our Bible Study Tuesday, September 17 at 10:30am. Is there a better way to strengthen your spirit than a Bible Study. This is a great time of fellowship, support, prayer, and study. All are welcome to join us.
Blessing of the Animals — October 5 1:00pm
Share this news with family and friends, so they can have their animals blessed too!
MAAV Walk – October 5 4:00pm -6:00pm
We are still assembling our team. If you can join us, let the church office know. Call for more information.
There will be many other wonderful opportunities for ministry, study, service, and worship this fall. So, keep an eye out so that you don’t miss any of them!
Blessings, Pastor Travis
