A note from our Pastor 1/23/25

We are double blessed. We have a beautiful sanctuary in which to worship. It is a space in which I feel closer to God just by walking into the room. I love being surrounded by the stained glass and to hear the magnificent organ. At the same time, we have adapted the library to be a wonderful place to worship too. I love the intimacy of the space, where the singing and the liturgy fill the room. I also really appreciate the heating and air conditioning, which keep us comfortable and save a lot of money!

Though we have been worshiping in the library for several seasons now, we have never consecrated it for worship. The space was consecrated as part of the church’s general ministry of the church, however, it is a gift to be able to ask God to bless the room for the act of worship.

Churches often have several rooms which have been consecrated to be used for worship. Our church has two such spaces, the sanctuary and the chapel. This Sunday, we will add a third, consecrating the library for worship too.

Join us this Sunday as we ask God to sanctify our library for this sacred purpose.

Blessings,

Pastor Travis
