Pentecost Service & Pot-Luck Picnic 6/5/22
Pentecost is the day on which we celebrate the birthday of the Church, the day when we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit to Jesus’ disciples and to all of us.
Plan to wear red to church! We will have a fun intergenerational experience with symbols of the Holy Spirit.
Following the 10 am service, we invite all to join us for an informal potluck picnic. Bring food to share (individually portioned is easiest). We will meet outside (weather permitting), and then travel across the street to eat in the gazebo and enjoy one another’s company. We will have some chairs available, but if you have a favorite lounge chair or picnic blanket, please bring that too! Drinks, paper plates, and plastic utensils will be provided.
Even if you are not able to attend the service (although we hope you will), you are invited to our Pentecost Picnic!
