Children & Youth News May 2022
Last Sunday, we celebrated and prayed for our community’s high school and college graduates. Congratulations to Emily, Jackson, and Eric!
We also celebrated Children’s Sunday, and were fortunate to have some of our children present in person during worship. The video of our Children’s Time (and Intergenerational Moment) is available on our YouTube channel. It is an illustration of how we can allow our children to be teachers within our community, even as those of us who are older teach them what we love about our church and our faith. Are we listening to what our children are telling us, through their words and through their ways of being present?
We are planning to bring some special deliveries to the homes of our children and youth next week, so please make sure we have your address! If we have not heard from you within the past year and a half–while you are still very much a part of our church community, for as long as you want to be!–we might not have your address. If this is you, and you want to receive a delivery, contact the church office.
Families will receive a separate email with more details, but know that you are very welcome at our upcoming Pentecost worship and picnic, and at our other children’s worship and social opportunities throughout the summer.
