Virtual Trivia Night

Our Haitian Mission Team Zoom Trivia Night Fundraisers have been a lot of fun. That have been wonderful fellowship and the money they have raised has gone to a great cause. Our next Trivia Zoom will be on May 14. We’ll open the zoom at 7:30 pm and trivia will begin at 8:00pm. 

Here is how it works:

1.   Send an email to missions@fumcmelrose.com request the Zoom link

2.   Teams may have up to 6 people. Team members can join the zoom from different locations.

3.   When you log on, rename yourself to your team name with your own name afterwards, such as: Trivia Stars – Sally. (It will help to have a team name chosen before you log on!)

We suggest a donation of $5 per person to play and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to one of six schools in L’Asile, Haiti. Donations may be made before, during, or after trivia via gofundme at https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/haiti-schools-in-lasile

Haiti Mission Auction

The Mission team is organizing a virtual silent auction May 9 -16. You will be sent a link and will be able to go in and bid on items. The winning bids will be announced on May 16. We have secured several gift certificates from area restaurants and people have donated some great items. We are excited about the auction. However, we are looking for more items to be donated for the auction. If you have something that you would like to donate (a gift basket, a gift certificate, etc) please let Pastor Travis know, reverendtravis@gmail.com

Haiti Facemasks

The Mission Team is selling facemasks in the Haitian colors for $20. If you would like to purchase one of them, contact Pastor Travis, reverendtravis@gmail.com.
