The SWARM is coming!!
May 3rd through June 6th, a swarm of mosquitos, nets, and signs will be roaming the streets of Melrose looking for a yard to swarm as they help FUMC Melrose to raise money for our Imagine No Malaria campaign. We are in the last months of fundraising, and we have so far raised $7010 of our $10,000 goal !! Please help us to achieve our goal, and raise the last $2900.
You can direct a swarm to settle on a friends yard for $10, and by filling out a form (link below) and mailing it to the church office with your $10 fee, or contact Anne Hillman at 616-617-6722, and the swarming team will take it from there. You can request a swarm anytime during the event.
If your yard gets swarmed, be prepared to have guests in your yard for four days. If you’d like the swarm removed earlier, this can be accomplished by paying an early removal fee of $20. For early removal call the church office at 781-662-7060 to request removal, or text “SWARMSOS” to 617-617-6722.
Conversely, if you would like to keep your yard from getting swarmed, you may buy Anti-Swarm Insurance for $25 to insure your yard does not receive a visit.
