Bread of Life Fundraising update!

The  Liberty  Bell  fundraiser  was  on  Wednesday,  October  7  was  a   big   success   in   terms   of   fundraising   and   fellowship.   We   raised   $402 total.  $330  from  Liberty  Bell,  representing  8%  of  sales  from 5-8  pm  and  $72  from  money  donated  to  our  table.

People  are  noticing  our  efforts  to  raise  $15K  for  Bread  of  Life!  The  Liberty  Bell  employee  said  we  did  a  great  job  and  kept  them  hopping  all  night.

The Bread of Life 5 K was also a great success.  We’re still counting the money, but right now the total is about $4,000.   20 folks from Team FUMC walked and ran as part of our mission emphasis. A  representative   from  the  Bread  of  Life  Walk  was  at  Liberty  Bell  and  told  us  our  fundraising  made the  walk  a  success  versus  last  year.  They  raised  $2K  more  than  last  year,  but  without  our  heightened  efforts,  he  believes  they  would  have  made  $2K  less. Stay tuned for more ways to help us make our fundraising goal of $15,000 for the Bread of Life!
