Upcoming Event: The Blessing of the Animals

On Sunday, Oct. 6, FUMC will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals service in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. The service begins at 5pm and will take place on the front lawn of the church (645 Main St., Melrose). All are invited!

Pets must be leashed or caged. In the event of rain, the celebration will be held inside. There will be a blessing of stuffed animals at the 10:30 a.m. sanctuary service on Sunday, Oct.$6. Make sure stuffed animals are tagged with their owners’ names so they can be returned.
